Yarnall Moving and Storage Solutions volunteers at the All Faiths Food Bank mass food distribution event in Sarasota County.  Taking place in the spacious parking lot of Ed Smith Stadium, Yarnall movers, drivers and staff participate in loading and unloading food, directing traffic and providing other essential grocery items to aid local residents impacted by COVID-19.

Yarnall teamed up with other local volunteers and The National Guard to help families being faced with unemployment, business closures or other challenges receive assistance.  Grateful for the amazing support by the community over the years, Yarnall decided that now was the time to act, more than ever, and to give back to the community showing them the same care and support that Yarnall has always received.  While practicing safe social distancing, wearing masks and implementing no-touch strategies, all volunteers were able to impact the community safely and still provide essential assistance.

At the end of the day, nearly 4,000 families were fed thanks to the huge efforts of All Faiths Food Bank and its volunteers.  Meal kits, boxes of produce and milk were distributed, ending hunger for another day.  This short-term, daily need to be fed is converted into a long-term solution when events like these continue to happen and volunteers consistently choose to help others.  Yarnall is grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference and impact the Sarasota community.
